Young adult fantasy novels are some of my favorites to spend time with! There are lots of exciting fantasy books for teens that I have been enjoying recently. I’ve included a few of my favorites here that I can’t put down!
1. Wings of Ebony – J. Elle

Rue’s life changes forever when her mother is shot dead on her doorstep. Taken by the father she never knew, Rue is forced to leave her little sister behind and go to Ghizon – a hidden island of magical wielders where the leaders thrive on human suffering.
As the only half-human, half-god there, Rue is miserable. She breaks Ghizon’s sacred Do Not Leave law and goes back to Houston, only to discover that her sister is in danger of falling sway to the very people that claimed their mother’s life. Evidence is mounting that the evil plaguing East Row is the same as the one lurking in Ghizon, one that is determined to steal everything from her and those she loves. In order to save her neighborhood, Rue must wield the full magnitude of her ancestors’ power before the gods burn everything to the ground.
